Intro to STARSkate is an introduction program designed to teach the basic skills of figure skating while bridging the gap between the CanSkate and STARSkate programs for skaters who wish to pursue figure skating. This program focuses on skills, tests, achievement and recognition.
Intro to STARSkate is taught in a group format and offers opportunities for skaters to develop basic figure skating skills while continuing to complete the CANSkate Badges 4-6 and early STARSkate testing.
Helmet Policy for intro = CSA approved helmets are to still be worn for this level of skating as per the Didsbury figure skating board's and coaches' decision on skaters' safety.
Please note that refunds will only be given within the first 2 weeks of skating at the discretion of the board. A 10$ administration fee will be charged for refunds in the first 2 weeks of skating. After this date refunds will only be issued for medical reasons with a doctors note.
