DFSC BYLAWS

 

The Didsbury Figure Skating Club is governed by a set of bylaws that outline how our club operates, how decisions are made, and the responsibilities of board members. These bylaws help ensure transparency, accountability, and consistency in how we serve our skaters and families.

Over the course of 2024 and early 2025, the DFSC Board of Directors undertook a full review of the club's bylaws and board position descriptions. The updated documents were approved by membership at the Annual General Meeting held on March 19, 2025.

As the 2025–2026 season comes to a close, we would like to sincerely thank the Town of Didsbury for once again supporting the Didsbury Figure Skating Club through the Community Grant Program.
Their continued support over many seasons has played an important role in helping our club provide quality skating opportunities for local children and youth.
This year’s funding was applied directly toward our ice rental costs and helped make it possible for us to continue offering CanSkate, Intro to STARSkate, STARSkate, and PowerSkate programming throughout the season.
We are incredibly grateful for the Town’s ongoing investment in youth sport, recreation, and community programming in Didsbury.
Their support truly makes a difference for our club and the families we serve.
