Welcome to the Didsbury Figure Skating Club!

We’re more than just a skating club—we’re a community.
Join us and become part of a tradition that celebrates skill, spirit, and connection on and off the ice.

Volunteering

The Didsbury Figure Skating Club would like each family to complete 15 hours of volunteer time through the season.

Volunteer opportunities include:

-Organizing or Donating to Christmas Hamper

-Helping with the Year End Skate Carnival

** A $100 post dated cheque will be required on the first date of skating for each skater. This will be returned at the end of the season once volunteering has been fulfilled or all volunteer options have been taken **

Fundraising

Fundraising is required to offset the costs associated with running the club.

Mandatory Raffle Books

Each skater pays for a book of 10 raffle tickets ($100) with their registration. These tickets will be handed out at the end of November and draw is in March during our Carnival.

Since these are prepaid tickets, you can choose to sign your name on all of them to enter into the draw or sell them and keep the money from the tickets

Other potential fundraising ideas are always welcome and will be chosen each year.

Board Members and Volunteer Cheques

Board members are exempt from the volunteer deposit cheque

As one of our more challenging seasons comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize some of the support that helped us through it.
Thank you to the Town of Didsbury for selecting the DFSC as a recipient of the 2024 Community Grant Program.
This funding played a key role in helping us transition to new locations for the second half of our 2024/2025 season to continue offering programming for our senior skaters.
We appreciate the Town’s ongoing investment in youth sport and recreation.
Looking forward to getting back on home ice this fall.
