FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENTS

2025/2026 Season

Raffle Ticket Fundraising Book

Mandatory Fundraiser (Per Skater, Per Season)

 

As part of our annual fundraising efforts, one raffle ticket booklet per skater, per season will be automatically added to all CanSkate, Intro to StarSkate (ITS) and StarSkate registrations. This is a mandatory fundraiser that helps keep overall program costs as low as possible while supporting club operations, events, and ice time.

Each raffle booklet contains 10 tickets, valued at $10 each, for a total fundraising amount of $100 per booklet.

How it works:

You may sell the tickets to friends, family, or coworkers and keep the money to recoup your $100 payment, OR, you can choose to write your own name on the tickets and enter the draw yourself.

Ticket Distribution:

Booklets will be distributed prior to the Christmas break in December. Families will be notified when they are ready for pickup.
Prize details will be confirmed and announced at the time of distribution.

Stub Return Deadline:

To be eligible for the draw, all completed ticket stubs must be returned by Saturday March 21st, 2026. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Raffle Draw Date:

The draw will take place at our annual Carnival on Saturday March 21st, 2026. You do not need to be present to win.

Maximum of 2 Booklets Per Family:

If your family is registering three or more skaters, an automatic discount will be applied at checkout to ensure you are only charged for a maximum of two booklets ($200 total). No additional action is required on your part.

Want to Sell More?

Families who wish to support the club by selling additional raffle tickets are welcome to purchase extra booklets. Each additional booklet is $100, and payment must be received before the booklet is issued. You’ll have the option to add extra booklets during the registration process, or you can email us at didsburyfsc@gmail.com to make other payment arrangements.

As one of our more challenging seasons comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize some of the support that helped us through it.
Thank you to the Town of Didsbury for selecting the DFSC as a recipient of the 2024 Community Grant Program.
This funding played a key role in helping us transition to new locations for the second half of our 2024/2025 season to continue offering programming for our senior skaters.
We appreciate the Town’s ongoing investment in youth sport and recreation.
Looking forward to getting back on home ice this fall.
